The smoked Epitome has been nick-named Smokey Stewart, because the milk
comes from the Stewart Dairylands farm at Hiwinui. The smoke flavours don’t
overpower but come to the fore on the soft palate.  
This cheese is typically aged for 3 month before we start selling it and it’s
good for another 7 months. It was our one and only entry into the 2020
cheese awards, and it picked up a bronze medal.
